New Auto Industry First, a Vendor 20 Group
Dealer OMG is one of the twenty exclusive company-members of the new automotive industry Vendor 20 Group (v20)! The group was officially formed in Las Vegas during the Digital Dealer Oct 2023 conference. David Kain, founder and president of Kain Automotive, moderated the all-day session, during which industry leaders, many of them C-level execs, socialized, sought solutions, shared advice, and created an additional V20 organizational structure.
The Vendor 20 group is similar to a Dealer 20 group, where non-competing companies synergize around commonality. However, the Vendor 20 Group members do not share pricing information or financial composites. V20 Members plan to meet in person and remotely a few times a year to exchange ideas, identify best practices, resolve challenges, and discover hidden opportunities.
More exciting V20 news…drum roll… Dave Lemmon, Dealer OMG’s own Director of Client Success, was nominated as Vendor 20 Group Chairperson! He proudly accepted and jumped into his role, collaborating with other executive committee members to create programs and set event dates. Dave shared his insight, “The collected power of this group working together offers some impressive discoveries and opportunities. I look forward to V20 member success, which, in turn, will benefit our auto dealer customers.”
The V20 members plan to socialize and meet in Las Vegas Feb 2023, during NADA and in April at the Kain 2024 event. We look forward to connecting with and learning from our auto industry members soon!
